Jessica is an experienced commercial lawyer with a speciality and interest in hospitality matters. She has been practising law since 2008.  In 2021 she was made a Partner of Harmans Lawyers and co-leads its busy commercial law team, based in Christchurch’s central city in the heart of its hospitality and retail hub.

Jessica works closely with her hospitality clients to assist with their challenges and their growth. As a result, she has a good understanding of the issues that businesses face and has daily contact with a wide variety of food and beverage and accommodation operators.  She loves sharing in their successes and enjoys hearing their stories, views and news which helps further develop her understanding and knowledge of the industry.    

Jessica is a keen advocate for business operators in the hospitality sector. She is looking forward to using her leadership and advocacy skills in this Board position for the benefit of Hospitality New Zealand and its members.
