Max Reelick has operated Palazzo Motel in Nelson on Rutherford Street for 5 years, along with his wife Robyn.

It is a luxurious 5 Star, multi-award-winning Motel, that is recently been awarded 2023 Best Motel under 25 rooms for the 2 nd year.

For over 40 years Max has been involved in the Hospitality Industry, building and operating several Cafes, Restaurants, and Motels throughout New Zealand. From Tauranga, Mount Maunganui and

Hanmer Springs, he was able to create distinct ambience for each one. Embraces the challenge, to create a business from nothing but 4 walls.

He is passionate about making guests feel welcome, informed and appreciated. Creating a positive, memorable experience for his visitors, is the key objective.

Max has tested and reviewed on most of the Hospitality venues in Nelson, under the name of “research and development”. That way he can pass on recommendations.
