Reg has developed, owned and operated many bars in Rotorua over the last 30 years. He first started in the industry in Port Melbourne, Victoria! While in Melbourne to play and coach rugby he somehow fell into the hospitality industry, an industry he has grown to love, and hopefully pass on that passion to his staff and fellow Publicans. Over the years he has trained many staff that have gone on to run their own places and thrive in the industry.

This is his second term as Bay of Plenty president, previously held for 12 years, also a board member of Hospitality New Zealand National board for five years serving the last two as Vice President.

Along with his wonderful partner Sue, he currently runs Hennessy's Irish Bar in Rotorua.
