Hospitality New Zealand (Hospitality NZ) submitted in support of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol (Improving Alcohol Regulation) Amendment Bill.
We view the Bill as taking some steps to correct licensing processes, as well as supporting some relatively small but meaningful tweaks to legislation that enable smoother operations of hospitality businesses. While we would like the bill to go further in some areas, particularly related to improving licensing processes, this bill is a positive step forward to improving certainty for licence holders.
