Hospitality New Zealand members and their employees can access a 100% online Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) through ServiceIQ,
Cost $179.00 incl. GST per employee.

Successful participants achieve NZQA unit standards 4646 (Demonstrate knowledge of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and its implications for licensed premises) and 16705 (Demonstrate knowledge of host responsibility requirements as a duty manager of licensed premises) to gain their LCQ.

Getting Started

Use the SIGN ME UP button below which takes you to the ServiceIQ online portal. Each person wanting to do the LCQ can create their account and complete an online registration form.

ServiceIQ will check eligibility, confirm ID and get back to your people in 1 to 3 working days*. Then a credit card can be used to purchase the LCQ and get started whenever suits.

People can leave the module and return to where they left off at any time. However, they need to complete the programme within four months, or the programme will expire, and it would need to be re-purchased.
