This policy can be used as the family violence policy in your workplace outlining how you will support who may be affected by domestic violence. It also outlines the legislative changes under the Domestic Violence Victims’ Protection Act 2018.
It is best practice to have a written family violence policy that is available to all employees. It is especially important that you and your managers understand the policy, how it is used, and are able to explain to your employees what they need to do, if they are affected by family violence.
