Hospitality New Zealand Wellington Branch President Matt McLaughlin has been working with The Sexual Abuse Prevention Network, Wellington City Council and NZ Police on the #DontGuessTheYes campaign. Like the 'Ask for Angela' campaign it is designed to teach bar owners and staff how to make their premises safe, how to identify and respond to sexual assault, and what to do afterwards.

The scandals coming to light should be motivation for all industries, including the hospitality industry, to look at our practices and ensure we are providing a safe workplace for our employees.
